In a sad turn of events, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend‘s son, Jack, passed away last night after pregnancy complications. The couple shared raw and emotional photos of them saying goodbye to the baby who could not make it full term.
However, many critics were commenting that some things ‘aren’t for social media’ and moments like that ‘shouldn’t be shared with the public.’
Luckily, there were also those who defended the couple. Not only is Chrissy comfortable with sharing the good and bad with the public but this experience may help someone else who has gone through the same tragic event.
Replying to negative comments on The Shade Room’s post, one person wrote: ‘She doesn’t have to get off social media if she doesn’t want to. That’s y’all problem . Let her grieve or express herself how she wants to tf.’

Another said: ‘It’s sad that people are saying it’s a publicity stunt cause she’s broadcasting her feelings like if you see her account you know she legit records her life on a daily like people cope differently so don’t be mad that it’s not what you would’ve done.’
‘I don’t wanna see anyone say she should get off social media and grieve. Let people grieve how they want to. If tweeting/posting gives her some form of comfort then so be it. Sending her love and light,’ added another.
‘I think she put it on social media because this happens to everyone. However a lot of people don’t know. She can make people feel like they’re not alone when they think they are,’ a user wrote.
This was after the couple announced the devastating loss.
‘We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before. We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough. We never decide on our babies’ names until the last possible moment after they’re born, just before we leave the hospital. But we, for some reason, had started to call this little guy in my belly Jack. So he will always be Jack to us. Jack worked so hard to be a part of our little family, and he will be, forever.’

Hopefully, people will be more sympathetic to the way other people choose to cope.
