A MALE stripper who claims to be ‘Australia’s Magic Mike’, has been exposed as a convicted criminal by an ex-girlfriend, as he is accused of assaulting another woman.

Michael Timothy Borgen, 32, from the Gold Coast, claims he’s “changing lives” when he performs for women as an adult entertainer under the stage name of ‘Mick Gucci’.

But two of his ex-girlfriends have told A Current Affair about his violent behaviour while they were in separate relationships with him.

Hayley, 25, said she dated Mr Borgen for 3.5 months, but broke up with him after he became aggressive and controlling.

She told ACA of how he sent her photographs of dead animals and dismembered bodies.

She said he also became “forceful” and pushed her around.

He was later charged and found guilty of intimidating, assaulting and stalking her and sentenced to four months in jail.

“I was scared for my life,” Hayley said.

When asked about the way he treated her, Mr Borgen told ACA: “That’s all in the past, yeah.”

While Hayley said she wanted an apology on national TV, he did not say it.

Instead he replied: “I’m sorry I even met Hayley.”

Bridgette, 28, also told ACA that he has been charged with allegedly assaulting her. He is also facing an extortion charge for allegedly sending her a text message that asked her for $2000 to be transferred into his account to prevent any naked photos of her from being publicly distributed.

Bridgette said she dated him for five weeks and broke up with him after he allegedly attacked her at his apartment.

“He grabbed me around the throat and threw my head up against the brick wall,” she claimed, as she screamed and yelled out.

She alleged she was left with bruises to her head, throat and arms, and alleged he was “violent, cunning manipulative and sleazy”.

Mr Borgen denies assaulting her, saying none of it happened.

He was charged with extortion and assault occasioning bodily harm in relation to the incident from April 15 this year.

At a recent court appearance, Mr Borgen told The Gold Coast Bulletin: “We will be making pleas of not guilty on both charges and we are looking forward to clearing my name in this matter and having the truth come out. I would like to thank all my friends and fans for their endless support during this time.”

Borgen is also the subject of an online documentary produced by Gold Coast filmmaker Jarrod Carter.

On its website, the documentary Like Mike: The Life of a Gold Coast Stripper promises to delve into the highs and lows of the stripping industry.
