We recently introduced you to Victoria Lane and her debut single ‘Don’t Regret It’. After wowing us with her debut, Victoria has pulled another punchy pop song out of the bag in the form of ‘Lights Off’.
Co-written with Chris Bourne (Hollywood Ending), ‘Lights Off’ takes a trip into the synth-pop world, with a breathy chorus. Victoria delivers a ‘screw you’ vocal, unleashing a blast of pent-up energy by the second chorus. If you’ve ever been in a situation where the person you took a fancy to turned out to be an utter jerk, then you’ll definitely resonate with this song.
About “Lights Off,” Victoria states,
“We’ve all been there: You’re fawning over a guy, you think he’s into you, and then he tells you you’re pretty — when it’s pitch black in the room. Oh, the irony! It’s about that guy you had a preconceived notion about. The guy who convinced you that what you thought about him was wrong, but then who turns around and proves to you that he is exactly who you thought he was.”

This is the new anthem for anyone who’s ever been wronged by someone they fancied.
