Jeannie Mai is slowly getting better, a new report from Page Six revealed today. Jeannie, one of the hosts from The Real, shared an Instagram video of her mother taking care of her, and she wrote in the post that she was “getting stronger with each day.”
Mai thanked her mom on Instagram for taking care of her, and finished off her post with the comment, “I LOVE AND MISS MAI FAM.” In case you missed it, the 41-year-old television star went under the knife earlier in the month after it was revealed she had a throat abscess.
Mai was then forced to drop out of Dancing With The Stars as a consequence. Jeezy, her fiancé, revealed that she started to get really sick and she had all kinds of problems with her throat. They went to the doctor to have her checked out.
After she received a “shot of steroids,” the rapper explained she was on the mend again. It all started to come back again, however, when she was having more breathing problems. The rapper said they woke up in the morning and it was clear to him that she was struggling to breathe.

She went to the ER and they “found something” wrong with her. As most know, Jeannie and Jeezy have been dating ever since she and her ex-husband called off their marriage. Yeezy, on the other hand, has been in the headlines for other reasons.
Gucci Mane recently expressed interest in battling Jeezy, who formerly went by the name, Young Jeezy, on Timbaland and Swizz Beatz’ Verzuz. The show is a stand-off between rappers, who perform some of their biggest hits.
As it was previously reported, Jeannie Mai and Jeezy announced they were going to get married earlier in the year. Jeannie came under fire, however, when she said she was going to “submit” to Jeezy as the leader in their relationship.
