Britain’s Got Talent became the most-watched TV show of 2016 last night as it peaked with an audience of 11.6m people.
The talent competition, which is currently celebrating it’s tenth year on ITV, was watched by an average of 10.3m viewers (which equals a 48% share), and peaked with 11.6m (51% share), becoming the highest TV rating of 2016 so far.
Last night’s show, which we thought was thrilling, saw group The 100 Voices Of Gospel snatch Alesha’s Golden Buzzer, meaning they’ll head straight into June’s live semi-finals.
